Added 2020-08-23 18:37:18 +0000 UTCSO I bought A Court of Thorns and Roses the other day, after attempting to read it a few years ago, I decided to give it another try. I still didn't like it but I kind of really liked Tamlin a lot for obvious reasons ๐
I got the second book and didn't like where his character went; I thought it was a really abrupt change in personality and I don't think I'll be continuing the series, but for what it's worth, the love scenes in the book are pretty entertaining ๐
This was just a really fast portrait of him to get my fixation on him out of my system, hopefully I can control myself and there will be no more after this...๐

I *have* considered doing a portrait of Rhysand, but we'll see ๐ค๐ I did love Tamlin though, but I understand where SJ Maas was coming from and what she was trying to do, I think it was just too abrupt for me.

I agree that his change was super out of no where! I personally think Sarah was still figuring things out in the first book and it showed in the next couple of books imo. If youโre looking to try another one of her series, Throne of Glass is supposed to be amazing.
