As expected, Ellie's agility value jumps as her level increases. There is a possibility that she will be stronger than Guster next year. The agility value is already almost the same as Guster's, and her strength and durability values are higher than Guster's.

This makes me think that Gaster, whose stats I thought was so far off a few months ago, is already right on our doorstep, and we’re getting a lot stronger.

We made it to the boss room on the fifth floor. I always make sure I'm the first to enter the boss room. I learned in class that there are boss rooms that only one person can enter.

“I think it's probably a threat level A boss... Clarice, make sure you have your Barrier magic and Ice Fortress ready to go at any time. Ellie, stay with Clarice until instructed otherwise."

I slowly open the boss room door and slowly enter the boss room. Clarice and Ellie followed in turn, and after a little while the door closed on its own. There are 16 magic pools... in the spring room.

And there were ten ogres, five blue ogres, and one red ogre.

“It's a boss room, but it's also a spring room... This could be pretty bad...”

My words were tense. First, I appraised the five blue ogres.

Name: -

Title: -

Race: Ogre Sorcerer

Threat: B

Condition: Good

Age: 45 years old

Level: 12

HP: 110/110

MP: 258/258

Strength: 58

Agility: 55

Magic: 68

Dexterity: 50

durability:58

Luck: 1

Special Ability: Pole Technique (Lv3/E)

Special Ability: Earth Magic (Lv 7/C)

Details: Intelligent demon. Can understand human language.

A wizard version of an ogre. This one’s nasty...

I've been defeating ogres with MP depletion tactics up until now, but if there's a wizard-type opponent, there’ll be much more resistance.

And when there are 16 ogres, which we have only faced up to 10 so far, we are at a disadvantage in the battle of magic.

Well, it doesn't matter as long as their MP are depleted... But that 45 years age... maybe they have been here since the labyrinth was built? The level is not that high, so it might be possible.

I also appraised the normal ogres and found their age to be 45 years old. I'm sure these guys have been in this boss room since the Almeria Labyrinth was built, and no one has ever defeated them.

Finally, I appraised the red ogre. I estimated this guy was a threat level A, so I appraised him and found the following

Name: -

Title: -

Race: Ogre Battler

Threat: B+

Condition: Good

Age: 45 years old

Level: 15

HP: 284/284

MP: 101/101

Strength: 78

Agility: 75

Magic: 52

Dexterity: 58

Durability: 70

Luck: 1

Special Ability: Pole Technique (Lv7/C)

Special Ability: Earth Magic (Lv5/D)

Details: Intelligent demon. Can understand human language.

Surprisingly, its threat level was B+. Obviously, its status is higher than that of the chimera, which has the same threat level, but when you think about it, the chimera has a great special ability.

If the ogre battler and the chimera were to fight one-on-one, the chimera might possibly win. Because the chimera has magic beast summoning, Fire magic, and accelerated HP recovery...

“Clarice! Cast Blizzard with me! It'll get resisted anyway, but it'll reduce their MP considerably too! And those putting up resistance will stop moving! Then me and Ellie will attack them! Be careful of the moves from those who weren’t resisting!”

When Clarice and I used Blizzard, 5 ogres and 5 ogre sorcerers resisted Blizzard.

I didn't expect that only 10 of them could stop the mixed magic, Blizzard, but with this, there were six magic beasts that could move. On our sides that could move are Ellie and myself.

I can only use my right hand’s Thunder Sword because I am controlling the Blizzard with my left hand, but I can fully use Vision, Mana Eyes, and Sylphid.

“Ellie, let's take them out one by one!”

I shouted, and Ellie came to my side, but the ogres were no fools. Six of the movable ogres were charging toward us.

Perhaps thinking this is a good opportunity, the ogres were after Clarice, who could not move much and is assisting me with Blizzard.

If Clarice can no longer assist me with Blizzard, I will be pushed out of the magic battle instantly. The ogres still have more than half of their MP left...

“Ellie! The ogres are after Clarice! Defend it to the death!"

She guessed the situation immediately even without my words, Ellie was already standing in front of Clarice from next to me.

I immediately go near Clarice too, and the six ogres started attacking her with magic. They are really nasty...

Ellie and I managed to handle the Stone Bullets of the ogres, but the problem was the Stone Spears coming out of the ogre battler's ground.

The attack takes a while to manifest, but Clarice is doing her best to assist Blizzard so she can't move. Clarice can also release ice spears while moving, but she can't cast a mixed magic, Blizzard, while moving, even if she’s just supporting the magic.

Clarice is in a position with both her arms raised all the way up to maintain the spell.

“Clarice! I'm going to hold you.”

I tucked my Thunder Sword on my right hand into the scabbard on my back, stood behind Clarice, put my right arm around her stomach and evaded the Stone Spear while holding her.

I can't use my left hand as it is being used to control Blizzard either. The Stone Bullets were intercepted with chantless Wind Cutter.

I had to hold Clarice with my right arm only, and every time I avoided the Stone Spear, the position where I held Clarice was higher up.

It doesn't give me time to reposition... but if I drop Clarice here, she will fall prey to the Stone Spear.

“Clarice! I'm sorry! There's nowhere to grab!”

Clarice seems to have understood what I'm trying to say.

“Never mind! But just don't irritate the tip too much...”

Clarice's face is probably bright red right now... I grabbed Clarice's left hill gently from behind with my right arm from below.

Soft... but now is not the time to indulge in such things. The evidence is that my partner isn't responding.

But still, it's useful to have big ones in a situation like this... If this had been Misha, I might have dropped her... Well, Misha is still growing up, so it's a pitiful to compare them...

After a couple of minutes of dodging, the resistance to Blizzard is gone. Finally, the MPs of the resisting ogres had run out, and out of the 16 of them, only the ogre battler had MP left, and the ogre battler's MP was just enough for one Stone Bullet or so.

I unwillingly let go of Clarice in my right hand.

“The ogres have ran out of MP! But we're running out of time! In 15 minutes, the next wave will spring up! We'll finish them off at once! Clarice, attack with your magic bow, Ellie, go with guerrilla. I'll use Wind Impulse to push all the ogres in one place and burn them down with Firestorm!”

I manifested Firestorm and used Wind and Wind Impulse to throw the ogres into it.

Clarice was just shooting her magic bow all around. Ellie has a one-on-one advantage with the ogre battler and was about to put an end to it.

Victory is completely in sight, but it took a little more time to end them due to the high durability and magical power of the ogres.

When we managed to defeat the 16 ogres in less than 30 minutes, two treasure chests popped up in the middle of the room.

“Clarice and Ellie, please leave the room first. I'll be there as soon as I collect those!”

Clarice and Ellie obeyed my words and immediately went out of the room. The two then left the door open for me.

I appraised the two treasure chests and found that there were poison arrow traps again. Darn! At a time like this... I avoided the poison arrow trap, took a white shiny sword and an obviously powerful-looking dagger from the treasure chest and rushed towards the exit of the room.

Just when I thought I managed to exit in time...the door closed in front of me. The expressions on Clarice and Ellie's faces at the moment the door closed were expressions I will never forget.

And when I looked back, the ogres were repopping one by one from the magic pool.
