Chapter 153 : The Bryants

We finally reached a place where we could see Almeria. No one has ever gotten from West Rimurgarde to Almeria so quickly.

“We're finally here!”

Ike said excitedly, and I too agreed.

“Yes. I can finally meet Clarice and Ellie!”

I unconsciously let my true feelings come out.

“Mars. You must really like the two of them.”

Zeke said to me with a laugh, and I was a little embarrassed, but I couldn't help it.

“It's the first time we've been apart for such a long time. I realize how much those two mean to me.”

When I answered frankly, Zeke looked apologetic.

“I'm sorry... It was my fault, but I'm really glad you guys came through West Rimurgarde because I don't know what would have happened if the five of you hadn't.”

Well… The only concern is that the other adventurers haven't risen in level as we had almost killed all the death knights.

The safety of the West Rimurgarde city is far more important, so it's probably not something to worry about so much...

Stepping into the city of Almeria felt very nostalgic. It's only been a year since I left Almeria, but ...

“Has the city changed a bit? Were there all these buildings and shops?"

I asked Zeke what I wondered.

“Yes. Adventurers who graduated from the Irgusia Labyrinth are gradually moving here to Almeria. I'm sure in a few more years there will be a new crop of B-rank adventurers in this town! And with the possibility of promising adventurers coming out of this town, beautiful women are flocking here one after the other. Perhaps Almeria could even become one of the leading cities in the Kingdom of Balkus!"

Zeke replied happily. Indeed, there were several shops where women who were still open for business entertained us. The lights of the shops are still on, so they must be open for business.

But I don't care about those shops. Right now, the priority is to get home. I hurried to the front of the house and found that the lights inside were out, but the area around the house was quite bright and there were people guarding the house.

There was no one guarding the house before we left Almeria... I felt like I had really become a senior nobleman.

When the guards saw Zeke, they saluted him and said, "Welcome back! Lord Zeke!" and when they recognized me and Ike, they said, "Welcome back, Lord Ike and Sir Mars!" They saluted us firmly.

I feel like an important man, but I'm embarrassed since I’m not used to it. When we entered the house, two black shadows attacked me.

““Welcome back! Mars!””

Clarice and Ellie dived at me without looking at Zeke and Ike, both wearing my shirt and shorts underneath.

I took them both in tightly and then hugged them.

“I'm home, I missed you both so much.”

My voice was tearful with joy. I might be a bit of a tearjerker.

“Clarice, how is Ede?”

Ike asked Clarice.

“Ah, father-in-law, brother-in-law. Welcome back. I think sister-in-law is sleeping because of MP depletion. That's how I was sleeping too, MP depleted, but Ellie just woke me up earlier saying 'Mars is back' and I'm going to...wake her up, so please go and sort out your things and stuff."

Clarice tried to go back to her room, but Ellie stayed attached to me the whole time, but Ellie was forcibly taken to wake up the senior glasses because it would be unfair if she’s the only one staying.

“Thanks Clarice. I'm going to take a bath, no need to rush.”

When Ike said that to Clarice, I decided to take a bath too. Then Zeke followed and the three men took a bath together.

I wanted to quickly get out of the bath and see them again, but I knew they might not like me if I didn't wash well, so I suppressed my impatience and washed myself more carefully than usual.

When I left the bath and went to the living room, Maria was awake as well as the senior glasses. As the beautiful women ran to their respective beloved men and whispered their love to each other, Zeke said

“Actually, we all have a lot to talk about, but let's go to bed for today.”

Everyone seemed to agree with Zeke's words and went back to their rooms. Well, they probably can't wait to spend some proper intense with their loved ones.

I, Clarice, and Ellie also went back to the room together and immediately got into bed and decided to talk about the month we've been without each other.

...but here's where something unexpected happened. Ellie immediately fell asleep. Clarice saw this and said.

“Let Ellie sleep. Ellie hardly slept while Mars was away. She was sleepy yet she couldn’t sleep. Ellie herself was wondering why she couldn't sleep... It seems that the reason was your absence..."

Looking closely at Ellie's face, she had a few dark circles. I didn't notice this because I was with her all the time, but she was quite dependent on me...

After that, I heard a lot about what happened in Almeria. It seems that she divulged to the senior glasses that she could use Holy magic.

Apparently, senior glasses was having quite a hard time in the Almeria Labyrinth, and because she would get tired and exhausted quickly, they forced her to join the battle by using Heal on her.

I heard stories like above but oh well. Apparently, senior glasses are afraid of entering the labyrinth, so they could only go as far as the second floor.

And she also learned from Maria that Leena can use Holy magic. This seems to be something that only Clarice has heard about. But it’s not like they are purposely hiding it away from Ellie and senior glasses.

Maria didn't want Clarice to learn about it before Ike, but since Clarice is a Holy magic user, she was asked to secretly teach Leena Holy magic when no one else is around and when she has time.

I also heard a lot of other stories about the Black Tri-Stars becoming decently stronger and about the adventurers in this town.

And finally, about Cain. Cain apparently likes Ellie. It’s true that he likes Ellie, but he also seems to like Ellie's big chest.

It is said that whenever he sees Ellie, Cain stares at Ellie's chest and make a smirk and try to hug her. Cain, you... No matter his position as the little brother, even I haven't even had a chance to enjoy them yet...

But that was where Ellie answered the expectation. These days, she won't let him touch her at all, saying, "That's your brother’s! Mars's!". Every time she does so, Cain cries, but Ellie doesn't care.

Clarice was talking the whole time, and I was just listening to her. I really wanted to talk about my side’s story too, but now all I want is to continue listening to Clarice all the time. Because I wanted to hear her voice more and more.

But I was tired from the long journey, relieved to be home, and feeling the warmth of Clarice and Ellie's bodies, and gradually I started to feel sleepy.

I fell asleep, and I was being hugged by Clarice and Ellie before I knew it.

5 January 2031.

“...up...wake up... Mars...it's noon already!”

The most wonderful voice in the world woke me up and when I opened my eyes I saw an even better sight. Clarice was waking me up in my baggy Y-shirt, so I could see the whole inside of my shirt.

Clarice followed my gaze and seemed to realize where I was looking and hid her breasts.

“Oh God...you're still the same! Wake up quickly! Let's eat together with the rest.”

“All right. I'm getting up now...”

I wasn't fully awake. If I had been fully awake, I wouldn't have woken up in this state... When I got out of the futon, Clarice immediately covered her eyes with her hands.

...yet she was still staring through the gaps between her hands as usual. Clarice's gaze was down below...my lower half, and when I followed Clarice's gaze, my splendid partner was looking at me, as if to say, I'm here! He has presence that seems to say something like that.

“S-sorry! I'm going to have a bath right now!"

I awkwardly went straight into the bath. I went into the bath immediately after freshening up and when I closed my eyes in the bathtub, I could see the scene from earlier. Oh no, my mischievous partner is getting energetic… My partner and I are both happy to see Clarice and Ellie after a long month.

After the bath, I went back into the bedroom. I thought Ellie was still asleep anyway. Sure enough, she was asleep, so I kissed Ellie and she immediately woke up and hugged me, so I gave her a princess hug and then let her down.

“Ellie. Good morning. Let's get dressed and have dinner together. As expected, I don't want everyone to see what Ellie looks like now.”

Ellie also has the front of her shirt completely open and her bra is visible. Ellie nodded without replying and began to undress right in front of me.

“E, Ellie! Wait a minute! I'm leaving the room, tell me when you've finished changing!”

I rushed out of the room and waited in front of my room. Both the top and bottom were yellow. ...what a selfish thing for my partner to exit the room, he was standing there as if coming to uppercut me from below.

Ellie has already woken up, so I can't unleash my self-generated electric energy. ...As soon as I left from Ellie, I went into the room and grip the almighty sage and finally calmed down.

When I went to the living room with Ellie, everyone was already eating.

“Good morning.”

I said to everyone and they all said back, 'Good morning'. There are nine of us here. My father Zeke, my mother Maria, my brother Ike, Ike's fiancée, Edean or senior glasses, myself, my fiancées Clarice and Ellie, my sister Leena, and my brother Cain who was born last year.

Clarice had an empty seat next to her, so I sat there and Ellie sat next to me.

While we were all eating, Zeke spoke up.

“I have a couple of things I want you all to hear. First of all, again, Ike and Edean, I'm sorry for everything I've done. I'm going to go and see Lord Mesalius when I have some spare time. And when I do, Ike is coming with me.”

“Yes. Father, I understand.”

Ike replied happily to Zeke's words. The reason why they don't invite me, Leena, and Cain to the meeting is probably because of the Gysahl’s situation.

It would be strange that we went and Gysahl wasn't there, but it wouldn’t be awkward that Gysahl wouldn't be there if we weren’t…*1

“Next, Mars, Clarice, and Ellie, I want you to thin out the magic beasts in the Almeria Labyrinth. Let them know in advance if you are going to stay in the safe zone. Also, please leave the magic stone on the last floor of the second level. The Black Tri-Star will go and collect them. Ike and Edean are in charge of that. If you two haven't had much time, then it would be good to relax here."

The five of us nodded at Zeke's words.

“And I'll be heading to the capital in a while. I don't think the ladies know this, but Mars defeated an impure king with a threat level of A in West Rimurgarde. I'm going to give that magic stone to King Balkus and tell him that West Rimurgarde is no longer under attack by magic beasts.”

All the ladies looked at me with surprised faces. Ellie hugged me very happily. Clarice saw this and rubbed up against me too. It smells good... I’m happy. However, certain people showed negative response towards that.

Firstly, it was Leena. She pushed Clarice and Ellie out of the way and sat down firmly on my lap.

“Brother Mars is Leena's!”

Clarice on my right, Leena on my lap, and Ellie on my left. Now Cain started to cry a lot at this sight. For some reason, I understood why Cain was crying. It’s not fair that he’s the only one surrounded by three people...or so he’s saying.

I'm sorry, Cain. I'm not going to give up all my fiancées, including Clarice and Ellie, let alone Leena.

After slowly enjoying the feel and smell of Clarice and Ellie and finishing my meal, I left my brother crying hysterically and went back to my room.
