When I left the maid cafe and headed for the arena, I met a couple of people I didn't really want to meet. They are Duke Syrians and Brad.
“Hey! You, wait a minute! You're Mars, right?”
Brad spotted me and started talking to me.
“Ah, ah... long time no see. I'm in a bit of a rush... Do you mind?"
After I said that, the Duke of Syrians...
“In a hurry? Where are you going?"
Damn… That's the last question I want to answer. ...
“Oh, I beg your pardon, Duke of Syrians. It has been a long time. I am now on my way to the arena..."
When I said that much, Duke Syrians interrupted me and said, "Take us with you!". The number of troublesome things has increased... It's not the Dukes of Syrians that I'm fighting this time.
I went to the arena's staffs' room with the Duke of Syrians and his son. There, Ike had brought Duke Regan with him and was waiting for me.
“Mars, Ike told me what happened. You have done well. That's why you're the first ranked in the S class of the Lister Imperial School. The students are the school's treasure, and if anything should happen to them while they are at school, we will do our best to deal with it. Originally, I would have hoped that you would have told me immediately, but for all intents and purposes, it seems that you didn't have time to report to me. It would have been fine if you had relied on Ryner but I cannot allow you to do so without an apology. Please make sure you win!"
You're saying good things...aren't you? I feel like it's a pretty cerebral way of thinking... So my actions were affirmed in the end... If this is in Japan, there's definitely going to be a huge argument, divided between the yay and nay camps… Afterward, I was still blasted by the Duke of Syrians and the Duke of Regan.
Apparently, Duke Syrians is furious about Ellie getting hurt...
I was also surprised that Duke Syrians was so supportive of Duke Regan. I thought it would be more bitter anger... As the son of a nobleman of the Balkus Kingdom, have I done something wrong again? Maybe I shouldn't have brought Duke Syrians here after all.
I spoke to Origo before the battle started but he seemed to have forgotten about me. Waltz, the sleep magician, was no longer in Moonlit Darknight. Origo was the only B-level adventurer class in that party, and the rest were four C-rank adventurers but one member of Abyss was a C-rank adventurer, and the others were all D-rank adventurers...
If Clarice, Ellie and Ike fight seriously, even if it's not me, they're opponents they could beat one to ten.
It took quite a while until the signal to start the match. In the meantime, I was going to appraise the Duke of Syrians but the signal to start the match was suddenly given... Read the air a bit please...
I had my target from the start. It was only Origo. I wish you had stopped the prince back then.
Partly out of self-imposed recrimination towards him, but also because I thought that overpowering the strongest in these two parties would demoralize the others.
Origo pulled out an expensive-looking sword and slashed at me. I can't believe he hasn't grown at all and only his equipment is better...
Name: Sonic Boom
Attack: 18
Special: Agility +2
Value: B
When you enchant a sword with Wind magic, a Wind Cutter comes out from the tip of the sword.
I'd like to equip this for either Clarice or Dominic... Clarice has Defender but Defender lacks attack power. Dominic is poorly equipped in the first place. By the way, I think the Sylph Sword that Gysahl had would be a better match than this. In my case, Wind Cutter can be used without chanting.
Origo and the others first came to surround me. Well, it's a good thing they are acting cautiously. Normally, I should be moving around to avoid being surrounded but I allowed them to surround me easily.
The other two are shooting me with magic from a distance... When the siege was completed, they attacked from all directions immediately after a voice saying "Fire" resounded from the rear. The only thing they've got going for them is their leadership... They're still a B-rank party even if rotten...but they're a little too hasty...
It would have been more annoying if they had attacked me after closing the siege further, but they were all about 10 metres away from me, so I could have created as many one-on-one situations as I wanted. Maybe the magicians in the rear were scared and shot early.
My target was only Origo. I avoided the Fire and then charged head-on to Origo who was rushing towards me. I was using Sylphid just in case and headed towards Origo, but he could not react to my movement at all.
He swung his sword at me, but I avoided his sword, chopped his right hand with all my might, and dropped his Sonic Boom from Origo's hand. I kicked the fallen Sonic Boom and sent it flying to the edge of the hall.
Origo can basically do nothing without a sword... and the members attacking me while surrounding me are C-rank adventurers... even if they are strong, they are only at the level of a newly formed C-rank adventurer.
There’s no need to resist any magic, and after a little bit of dodging, the magician's MP was already about to be depleted. After all, the MP of magicians from Zarkham Kingdom is low. This is...too weak...
I just kept on dodging the attacks of the C-rank adventurers and I slapped at Origo. Really just a slap... Origo was furious at being completely underestimated.
“Y-youooooo!!!
No matter how terrifying he was, he was not scary at all... When I slapped Origo’s unguarded waist hard enough, Origo's waist was shattered. Seeing this, the other adventurers started to get scared.
I grabbed Origo's chest with my left hand and lifted him up, and continued to strike him on the cheek with my right hand. The sound of slaps kept echoing through the hall, *slap*, *slap*, *slap*. Incidentally, the slaps were not very forceful. It would be to the extent that his cheeks would swell up a little.
And Origo tried hard to remove my left hand but it is useless. The guys surrounding me tried to attack me but when I use Origo as a shield, they can't do anything.
I can see that the morale of those surrounded me is dropping more and more. They realized that Origo could no longer break out of this situation without them doing something about it.
He used his remaining MP and hit me with Fire from a distance but I used Origo as a shield and the Fire hit Origo directly in the back.
“Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!”
Origo burned with a great scream. I swung Oligo around to extinguish the fire that had ignited him, and he fainted. I continued slapping him again and Origo regained consciousness.
The other adventurers have already completely lost their will to fight. I didn't have to deal with all of them if I overwhelmed Origo as I had expected before the fight.
I said nothing and just slapped Origo flat. I will not encourage them to surrender. And I wasn't going to make it easy for him to surrender. I was going to keep doing it until he completely broke down.
That's how guilty I felt for letting them hurt Clarice and Ellie. They deserve a thousand deaths! is not something I would say but they'll pay for it in their own way.
After two or three minutes of slapping, Origo was about to say "Sur...", so I slapped him hard and crushed his words.
I could see that Origo's face had deformed a lot, no matter how much I tried to moderate my strength. And his eyes were filled with tears.
Then, when he tried to convey his intention to give up several times, but each time I hit harder, Origo finally started to cry. It's about time... I threw Origo down and he couldn't even take stance to receive the fall. And not a single person from Moonlit Darknight or Abyss ran up to Origo.
The hall was quiet and still. And normally the ring announcer would say the match is over, but this ring announcer knows, it will probably still continue.
I got to where Origo was down, and Origo's heart was completely broken. Well, a B-rank adventurer losing completely to a 10-year-old kid in this huge crowd. And it would be unprecedented, loss from one-against-ten.
I just stared down at Origo lying there from above. And then Origo was like.
“I-I'm sorry...I give up.”
I just turned around and left the venue, and the ring announcer shouted my name.
“Winner! Mars Bryant!"
The crowd, who had forgotten to speak, shouted in unison and the place shook like an earthquake with cheers.
☆☆☆
An unbelievable sight took place before my eyes: one against ten, Mars dominating... and that too without drawing his sword...but Mars's face looks so sad...
“Tsk… He overwhelmed so one-sidedly against a B-rank adventurer... Indeed, I think I am stronger than that B-class, but would the result be the same if I took his place?”
The beastman named Brad said in frustration, and Sir Ike answered him.
“Brad, sometimes you lose yourself if you aim too high. You should start with the target closest to you, which is me. After you beat me, go on to Ellie, then Clarice, and finally Mars.”
What...? Ellie is...that blonde, nice-bodied beauty! She's stronger than Sir Ike with that figure! And the S-ranked goddess Clarice is even stronger...? What's going on in this school...?
In the end, Mars won a convincing victory without breaking a sweat. I still can't believe it... and Mars came back with a sad look on his face. Then the Duke of Syrians.
“You! Why did you hold back! Go and put and end to them!"
Wow... I’m appalled...
“Ha ha... I think I did the best I could in my own terms. I don't want to fight against anyone for a while longer..."
H-he’s too humble...eh...? Wait...? Blonde, super handsome, extremely strong and humble? Is there any reason not to fall in love with him somewhere? And then Sir Ike gave Mars a fistbump.
“Nice fight! That was pretty drastic for Mars. It looks like you've completely broken his heart, and I don't think he'll make it as an adventurer anymore.”
“Yes. This time Clarice and Ellie were hurt and I was pretty mad too. Now all that's left is for the prince to apologize.”
After such a terrific victory, Mars' face was not so bright. Finally, Edean.
“Alright! It's all over so I'm going back ahead of you. I'm sure everyone is wondering what's going on. Also, Clarice told the guests earlier that we're having lunch together on the last day so don’t forget."
Mars said, “Okay”, bowed his head and looked over at Edean. Alice, who had been looking at Mars the whole time and had lost her voice, suddenly said
“Sis... I...like Sir Mars... I'll definitely come to this school next year!”
Alice's face as she said this to me was not the face of the sister I always see, but that of a woman.

Author’s note:
You deserve a thousand death!
I didn't just want to use the line...you know?
