Changes are a-coming!

Hello to my beloved patrons!  I have been taking a look at my goals, tiers, rewards, and overall Patreon page, and I am realizing that I wrote a lot of this when I was still primarily writing blog posts, and mostly needing help with website fees and photography equipment.  As I have gotten more and more into making videos of my sewing (and other) projects, I am realizing that I need to update things a bit!  

-While I love my tier names (they are very 'me'), they do not reflect what you awesome people are supporting, nor what you are receiving, so I would like to change that up a bit! I thought it might be nice to show what your subscription buys, and to clearly demonstrate the relationship between your monthly pledge and exactly how it supports future videos!  For example, a $3 tier might be 'A Spool of Thread', a $5 could be 'Pattern Paper', $10 'Trim', $30 for 'Dress Fabric', and so on.  Nothing is set in stone yet, I'd love to hear your suggestions on what direction to take this!

-I thought that I would make more use of the Patreon page for fun little images, questions, and polls, but then I realized that you guys receive an email every time I do any posts, and I was very worried about spamming you guys!  So I have tried to be conservative and save posting for mostly just the early access videos, but now I feel like I am not truly giving all of the listed rewards (particularly 'sneak peaks' and polls), so I think I would like to remove those rewards from the available tiers. Do you have thoughts on good replacements? What would provide the most value for you personally?

-Also related to rewards, I did not realize how tricky it would be to send out birthday cards for you lovely folks when I can't see/know your birthday!  As much as I love that perk idea, it isn't as practical as I had hoped, so I would like to figure out something to replace it.  If you are already signed up for a 'birthday card' tier, don't worry, you still get a card! Send me a message with your birthday month so I can send you an awesome card!

-The goals I set up a year ago are a little outdated with the content I am now creating!  For example, that 70-300mm lens would still be lovely to have, but it would purely be for taking photos, and would not help me make new videos.  I am realizing that I would rather update my video and audio equipment so I can continue increasing the quality of my video tutorials!  I will continue noodling on this a bit, and will update my goals at the same time as all the tiers.

In the next few days, I am going to be stuck in one spot for a bit since I need to make a new fingerloop braid, and I thought that might be a nice time to chat to my patrons in a video!  I love the idea of a live video, but I know that not everyone will be available at the same time, so instead, I am asking you NOW for your questions!  What would you like me to chat about?  Do you have any suggestions, thoughts, improvements, and/or questions based on the proposed changes above?  Anything you'd like to see in future videos in general?  I'd love to hear from you!
