Chapter Idle Talk : The Phenom’s Return

On January 1, 2072, the world once again learned of the horrors of the Phenom…….

Suddenly without notice, black holes appears all over the world, and phenoms exceeding the danger level of 7, which the existence has not been confirmed for 20 years, appears one after another and began to attack people.

In response to this, humanity, led by the specialists, moves to fight off the phenoms but there is an uneven distribution of forces among the countries, and more importantly, there is an overwhelming shortage of specialists who are capable of fighting the high level phenoms that are appearing everywhere. Some countries began to collapse as a result.

And in Japan…….

Three months before the return of the phenoms, Shinichiro Kiryu, the head of Kuroyume, the largest filths organization in Japan, purges Bright, who killed the Prime Minister and 19 others.

In addition, the bombing terror incident was said to have been carried out by Bright that had betrayed Kuroyume with collaboration of Kagerou, and Bright's name had completely fallen to the lowest ground.

Later, under the newly appointed prime minister, Konosuke Tokugawa, Toshiaki Zaimae, the actual head of the NDF, and Kiryu of Kuroyume, who purged Bright and calmed down the terrorist attacks, teamed up to submit a bill to the National Assembly that wipes out the discrimination and prejudice that existed between gifteds in Japan.

The opposition is slightly outweighing the proposition, but in the midst of this, the situation changed drastically with the return of the phenoms around the world.

The people are forced to approve Tokugawa's bill, putting pressure on the legislators who were opposed to it.

Sendai City, Tohoku Region

Black holes have appeared all over Japan. However, no black holes were observed in the vicinity of Sendai City, the largest residential area in the Tohoku region, and there was no damage caused by the phenom. This is the only major residential area in Japan that is not affected.
