Chapter 90 :  The Goddess of Sky

――A little further back in time……Teaser arrived at the gates of the Core Institute with a group of specialists prepared by the German government.

“Now then, we're going in. Everyone, ready?”

A group of thirty people, Germany's proud government-approved specialists the [Gates]. This time, they had been entrusted with the support of Kuroyume but the morale of the Gates’s members was low because the one giving out the orders from one level higher was a young Japanese girl.

Next to Teaser is the anxious Hannah.

Hannah is a non-combatant but she couldn't stand still and came with Teaser when she heard about her sister.

Gates members' cheeks reddened at Teaser's light wink. But Behnhoff, the leader of the Gates on this mission, clicked his tongue in frustration.

(Tsk, is this little girl really a member of Kuroyume? Even if it's government order, why should I follow the command of a little Japanese girl?)

When the entrance was destroyed by the members of the Gates, the alarm sounded simultaneously as the security soldiers came out of the laboratory in droves.

“Everyone of Gates! I need about ten of you to stay here and assist the others’ infiltration into the building!”

As instructed by Teaser, ten of Gates' men were fighting back the guards to secure the entry route.

“Hey, princess! For enemies of this caliber, can't we just annihilate all of them before we get in?”

“……This mission is to rescue the hostages kidnapped by Core. The hostages might be being tortured as an experiment while we're doing this. So there's no time to waste.”

It wouldn't be difficult to destroy the enemies that came towards them here, but they would certainly lose time. Anna, Hannah's sister, had already been taken to the laboratory. Not a single second could be wasted.

Even from Teaser’s perspective, she knew for sure that Thutarle would be a strong foe. But...

“Fufufuh, you, do you know the phrase ‘frog in the well’? I don't know how to say it in German though.”

“Pr-, princess! Don't needlessly provoke him! If Thutarle is here, that means there's another one, his partner, Destod. We'll never win against those two. We have to run!”

“Is that right? Then you have my orders. You're to go rescue the hostages immediately. I'll take care of this guy for you.”

Behnhoff looked at Teaser as if she were a madman but Thutarle seemed to like her.

“Hoh, you're a pretty good woman……. Alright, I'm going to let you live and make you my bitch. Be thankful.”

“I'm afraid I have to decline. Because I know a man million times better than you.”

“I see……. You should've stayed quiet and be mine, I guess you'll have to take a little beating to understand that……”

Teaser and Thutarle went into battle mode. ......but Behnhoff intervened.

“Teaser, I'll buy you some time here, you run!”

A net of a nature harder than steel was released from Behnhoff's hand, restraining Thutarle's legs. The name of the gift is ‘Robustious Nets’. The gift rank is at B.

“Wai……I told you to go rescue the hostages, didn’t I!”

“As if I can just leave behind a woman and retreat! Just listen to me and get the fuck out of here!”

Behnhoff put more strength into the net that he had created with his gift but Thutarle grabbed the net that bound his legs and smiled comfortably.

“Hmm, not a bad gift. However, the material that’s bad.”

Then, as he sent heat into the net, the net rapidly raised its temperature, instantly raising Klinsmann's body temperature as well.

“AGARH!? GUGYAAAAAH!!”

[Wear Melighton]. A gift ranked at B+, it’s a gift that sends heat to the material the gift holder touches. The temperature rises to a maximum of one thousand degrees.

Behnhoff acknowledged the fact that his life had been saved by Teaser and thanked her.

“For disobeying my orders……minus ten points. For treating me like a little girl……minus 20 points. For trying to help me, even though it was none of your business……plus thirty points. ……With that, it can’t be helped, I will help you.”

“……Hoh, that's quite something, woman. Now, if you don't want to be a mummy, why don't you just offer your body to me? I'll be gentle to you at the start, okay?”

“Mummy……. Sorry to say. I'm not a fan of mummies but I'm even more disgusted of the idea being held by you.”

“What a cocky bitch. But that's good. It's fun to take a girl like you by force.”

Behnhoff no longer had the energy to interfere, and the other members of the Gates were following Teaser's instructions, so there was no one to interfere with the two of them, Thutarle and Teaser.

“……sigh, I've been trying to keep up my appearances but it's really exhausting. I’ll be speaking comfortably from now on.

And you know what? You seem to have misunderstood me, so I'll tell you something. I'm always surrounded with people who are much stronger than you. To be honest at your level, I'm not even surprised. In fact, I'm also stronger than you, you know?”

He tried to move away to escape the lightning but the tornado wouldn't let him. Thutarle was shot by the lightning endlessly and before he even noticed it, he was burnt to a crisp and collapsed…….

“Isn’t this a little too disappointing? And this is supposed to be the deadliest filth in Germany, he’s so disappointing it’s not even funny……”

Behnhoff called Thutarle the deadliest, but not the strongest. In essence, he was like Skull or Joker in Japan in terms of his position.

Such Thutarle barely raised his head.

“Wha, what are you, you……”

“Me? I am Kuroyume Number 10, Teaser, the [Sky Goddess].”

Sky Goddess……. Teaser was plenty powerful indoors but she was even stronger in the open air. That is why she is feared as the goddess of the sky.

Kuroyume is one of the most powerful organizations in the world. If you are one of the numbers there, you would be considered to be one of the chosen one that everyone fears.

Thutarle drew his last breath with a look of despair on his face…….

Teaser called out to the Behnhoff who was staring at her in a daze.

“Since it looks like you were trying to help me, thanks.”

“Ah…… yeah, I know what I did was unnecessary, I understand that clearly now……”

Recognizing his own inexperience, Behnhoff hung his head.

“Teaser! All the hostages are safe....... And my sister also!”

Hannah came running up to me with her sister Anna. The other members of the Gates had also gathered with hostages and were detaining the researchers everywhere. The operation seemed to have been a success.

“Mission complete, I guess. I'm sure it is all taken care of on Bright’s side by now……”

Teaser who had not the slightest doubt that Bright would actually lose or fail looked relieved and confident that the mission had ended successfully this time.
