Chapter 68.1 : The Contrast of the Elites

The sight of Bright's awakening terrified Yellow and White to the point where their desire for revenge had vanished….

In Bright's mind, Hiro and Fuuka seemed to be the heroes from a tale.

An elite with a promising future and also another elite who awakened in midst of adversity. These two individuals contained many of the elements that the protagonist of a story has.

On the other hand, he was the character who has fallen behind without waking up to any ability, and the moment he did, he was driven into despair and have nowhere to live but in the dark world.

Just what was the difference? The two of them have a bright and shiny future ahead of them, while the more steps he took the deeper he is to the world of darkness.

He wanted to be a hero. He longed to be a hero. The two people in front of him now are trying to make his unfulfilled dream come true in the present.

What he felt was absolute unreasonableness. But more than that, he would become the hero he believed in...a dark hero! That was the moment when his soul screamed, and something like words rang in inside his brain.

“Guh… The monster gets even more powerful now… this is too much!”

“Sanada, don't shrink back! Here he comes!”

When he saw Bright standing in front of Hiro and Fuka, Evil thought. It's like the last boss standing in front of the heroes who are on the side of justice….

“He… disappeared!?”

Hiro was suddenly blown away by an impact on his cheek. He had probably been attacked. But he couldn't see it at all.

It was the same for those who were watching around him. None of them had caught sight of Bright.

Up until now, even with Silent Stealth activated, Bright's body could be seen as distortion on space if one looked hard enough, but now he couldn't be seen at all. However, there's a drawback, the stealth state would still be broken if Invisible Slash is used when it is activated.

An invisible sense of horror struck everyone, but not Evil.

(Just now was Silent Stealth, right? I used to be able to see him if I looked hard enough, but now I can't see him at all. Moreover, I can't hear a single sound… No way...is this what you call awakening? I've heard rumours about it, but this... can it even evolve to such extent?)

I was conscious of the horror-like interaction of Bright and Fuuka(lol) and it seems to have given Fuuka a psychotic effect.
