Kouki saw them as he crashed into the wall. His lower body that rolled down in front of Hiro...

As his consciousness fades, Kouki stares at the entrance. Saejima is standing there.

"L-lieutenant Saejima!"

Kurosaki was actually a former member of the National Defense Force, and his combat prowess was highly regarded but his conduct was even worse. After being discharged from the army he became a stray filth who moved from place to place.

Kouki was already in a world of total darkness, but he could hear Hiro's footsteps approaching him.

Then Hiro kicked Kouki's head as hard as he could.

“This me will be done in by this thing?! My mastery of my gift is certainly still low but it's rank A+, the strongest of the domination type gift, you know?”

"Even if your gift is good, you will die if you can’t use it correctly. The world you are living in is that kind of world. You have to show more determination. Anyway...take care of the clean up~"

After saying that, Saejima left.

"...what the hell, when you are just a battle maniac!"

"But the lieutenant is not wrong. Because in this world, if you are not careful, you can die in a heartbeat. No matter how strong you are."

"I know, I know! Damn it! ......... Hmm? This guy ...... well, of course not. Kouki isn’t a gifted."

"Well then, let’s go too. I have already called the clean up team to take care of that thing."

Hiro and Kawashigura left.

Kouki, who was left alone, was already on the verge of losing consciousness.

If it continues like this, he is most likely be disposed of as a corpse.

Kouki could only hope for the best. That the Revived Hunter would be activated.

...I will never, ever forgive them.

Not only Saejima who had killed him but also that bastard who put on the skin of his childhood friend. He swore to himself that he would never forgive Hiro....

TL: I will be pacing myself after this volume 1 like maybe 2 or 3 chapters per week. But man, I really thought this novel would be a light-hearted dark hero story when I first see the title of this novel like a certain shadow eminence or intergalactic evil lord.
