Chapter 4 : The Deciding Match for the Strongest Woman Title?

In front of the bench where Kouki and Mizutani sat were Watanabe, Ookubo, Kondou, and Yoshida. All four of them belong to the promising A group.

All of them are huge, over 180cm tall, their genders are technically female, and they are the strongest high school girls in the world.

“Wha…”

Kouki couldn't help but let out a squeal at the sheer force of the situation.

According to Takahiko, all four of them apparently like him. However, the person himself can’t help but feel apologetic as he does not feel happy at all about it.

“Uhm... who are you all?”

Even an adult man would have been frightened by the sheer intimidation from them but Mizutani Fuuka was unfazed.

“...get away from Kouki-sama right now. If u back out with mach speed, I will spare you”

Yoshida, probably the main culprit who was interfering with Kouki's love life until now, glared at Mizutani. However, Mizutani remains unfazed.

“Why do I need to? I just transferred to a new school today, so Suou-kun is my first friend. Is it wrong to want to get along with your friend?”

When she said so, the other gorillas---the girls, distorted their expressions. Among them, Ookubo, whose face resembled a monkey's, took a step forward.

“Huuh? We can’t care less with whom you make friends with but we won’t allow you to be friends with Kouki-sama”

“...Ookubo-san, this is in front of Kouki-sama. Be careful with your words.”

“Oh, right. I'm sorry, Kouki-sama.”

Gori--Ookubo...was rebuked by Yoshida and bowed to Kouki for some reason.

...I remember Takahiko telling me that the four of them were on bad terms with each other due to him. So why are the four of them together?

“...anyway, we the “Suou Kouki's Virginity Protector Squad” will not allow a woman to talk to Kouki-sama. If you want a friend, look elsewhere.”

(Wait, what the heck! Why are you trying to watch over my virginity without my permission! Or rather why are you assuming that I'm a virgin?)

“V-virgin…”

Mizutani stared at Kouki with a bright red face. As expected Kouki couldn’t stay silent as he was treated as a virgin. ...He is a virgin, though.

“D-don’t anyhow say things about me! Why are you even making this ridiculous group when I never ask you to!”

“Originally, we are going to settle the matter today. Settle who is worthy of Kouki-sama…”

“Hahh? Why? Where’s my right to voice my opinion?!”

“And then I heard that there’s a new transfer bitch from someplace made lunch for Kouki-sama and was flirting with him...We reached the same conclusion that now is not the time to fight amongst us.”

“No, please don't ignore my words and proceed on your own?!”

“So we made an agreement! We will never let any other bitches get close to Kouki-sama. We won't be sneaking around each other either. When we acknowledge our love, we will do it all four to.ge.ther.”

Gori...Kouki’s face paled as he imagined himself in a harem surrounded by slightly rough girls.

(Are you tryin to say that I can't fall in love with anyone but gorillas from now on? What the hell with this torture...)

...is what Kouki can’t say. It's against his policy to make girls cry no matter what.

“...that, isn’t that weird?”

As if cutting through the atmosphere of the situation, Mizutani Fuuka opened her mouth.

“...What? Can you repeat that again?”

Yoshida responded with a blank expression. But there are blue streaks on her temples.

“Why are you guys interrupting Suou-kun's love life? Isn't that up to Suou-kun himself?”

“.........”, “.........”, “.........”, “.........”

I guess they didn't expect to be challenged with a perfectly logical common sense. Yoshida and the other four stared at Mizutani in silence.

“If you like Suou-kun that much, isn’t it fine to tell him upfront that you like him. Please don’t move sneakily behind him.”

“......What do a bitch like you who's a little bit cuter than us know! I...we've always been a little bit stronger than others since we were born, so all the men avoided us! Only Kouki-sama...I didn't want to be avoided by him!”

Nah, I doubt it’s just by a little bit...is what Kouki thought but can’t say in the end.

“It’s your freedom to love Suou-kun but at the same time others also has the right to fall in love with Suou-kun. Suou-kun too has the freedom to fall in love with whoever he likes. I don't think you have the right to interfere with that.”

Kouki felt more respect than surprise towards Mizutani, who was unfazed by the four female gorillas.

Even as a man, he was scared of these four powerful gorillas. And yet, Mizutani is proudly refuting them upfront.

“When I keep quiet and give u an inch, you just have to take a mile...I’ll beat you to a pulp!”

Having exceeded the limit of her endurance, Watanabe(Judo) tried to grab Mizutani.

Watch out! I have to stop him! ...with that kind of urgency, Kouki leaped in front of Mizutani….however Watanabe’s hand was stopped by someone else.

“I don’t think it’s really praiseworthy when people ganged up to torment one girl.”

Sanada Hiro. Kouki’s childhood friend and also the most popular boy in the school intervened with Watanabe.

“S-Sanada-sensei!”

The four gorillas who are supposed to be fond of Kouki are now blushing while being surprised.

(Huh? Those expressions no matter how you look at it are those who are in love, no? And what do you mean sensei? I thought you said you liked me, didn’t you?)

Although Kouki lamented the fact that he was liked by such an unbelievable group of people, it was not amusing to see the favor that should have been directed at him was so easily shifted away to others.

“On the account of me, will you not take a step back here?”

“...ye, yes!”

The four of them blushed and nodded straightforwardly… It’s a sight that doesn’t sit well with Kouki.

“Uhm~, you four, ...are you not my guards? Why are you obeying Hiro so easily?”

“Sanada-sensei is a teacher who treated even people like us with kindness and gave us various advice after all. Well, he is like an unreachable idol!”

Hiro is someone they admire but he's living in a different world from us. While Kouki is someone they can actually reach. Kouki understood their point but in the end he can’t accept it.

“That was a close call. ...Huh? Are you the one from this morning?”

“Ah, yes! My name is Mizutani and I've just transferred here today.”

“I see. I see. You're a transfer student after all. There’s no way I would forget a beautiful person like you, Mizutani-san. I'm Hirono Sanada. Nice to meet you.”

As usual, Hiro talked to Mizutani with his natural playboy lines. Mizutani unlike back then, she seems nervous as if she was still scared by the four gorillas intimidation.

(...what the heck. In the end even Mizutani too thinks the more handsome the face, the better. I’m like a clown here…)

This event reminded Kouki yet again that when he is with Hiro, the overwhelming protagonist, he is the overwhelming sidekick character. It was especially painful for him who has always wanted to be a hero.

The girl that he came to like a bit and even the childhood friend of his, they've all liked Hiro, not him. This has always been the case.

However, after talking with Mizutani for a little while, Kouki found himself hoping that maybe this girl was different.

(I'm such an idiot. Even though I knew it’ll be like this...)

Haruka and Azusa looked fed up at Hiro who was being needlessly kind to other girls again. Kouki doesn’t even enter into these two’s eyes.

Unwilling to be there, Kouki left without looking at Hiiro and Mizutani who were still in conversation.

"Oh... Suou-ku..."

"Ah! We're having lunch now, Mizutani-san, would you like to join us?"

"Eh? Ah, ...... yes."

Mizutani tried to stop Kouki from leaving but in the end she did not refuse Hiro's invitation.
