It was not until the year 2025 that the human race began to fight back.

Suddenly, individuals who could use supernatural powers, later known as “gift”, began to appear within the humankind.

Gift appears in individuals randomly between newborn to 15 years of age, after which the probability of becoming gifted is abysmally near to zero.

There were many different kinds of gifts, some specialized for fighting, some to make life better, and some with uncertain use, but whichever the case, humankind obtained a method of their own to combat the phenom.

People praised those who awoke their gift, calling them "specialists".

As the counterattack of humanity spearheaded by the specialists began, many large-scale subjugations of phenom were launched all over the world. In the year 2050, humanity finally faced a decisive battle against the "unknown", a special phenom of different dimension to other phenoms and feared to be their progenitor.

The unknown is an enemy so powerful that just one of them wiped India, a country with great military power in 2020.

Thus, Armageddon broke out between 100 elite specialists from all over the world against 1,000 powerful phenoms, with the unknown leading them.
