Q: Does there come a time, when the current president sees the simultaneous threats to our nation's future security, health, wealth, environment etc., that he can legally impose martial law to delay the inauguration of his successor until such time that those threats have dissipated?

Is there an opening here for a president for force recess appointments, given the current Supreme Court?
