New Video: Steamy Demos June 2025

And we're back with another helping of demos.
I got most of this done before the festival began and before I needed to do my own business. While I was away from my PC I was still a bus ride away and so took the time to ride over and work a bit more on the video. This meant my work-from-home job developed a commute, which was amusing and also not amusing. I had to weather a storm to get an 8mb audio file I had forgotten to transfer over the day before just so I can do the final render.
Anyway, I'm happy with this and everything featured here. Sometimes I do feel I rush these videos out a bit in order to get them published while the Next Fest is still ongoing, and it maybe makes a dent into my writing and editing in the process. People are uploading their demos earlier and earlier so I should perhaps cruise along before the festivals a little more. Will probably try that out next time.
Work still continues. Doom The Dark Ages was indeed a distraction and I've ended up with a lot to say. There is discourse around it and I'm feeling mindful about that, but I'm hoping to get a video made soon because frankly, I was pretty disappointed. House of Leaves is also still a project and work there is progressing carefully. Covering a book is going to be a challenge, but it's one I think is worthwhile. I've been doing other reading to help with this so I can speak with some confidence. also must remember to pronounce the names correctly this time...
