Rogue Gig (WIP)

Hey everyone! The title of this week's post is pretty fitting, as we have another first timer: Rogue from Cyberpunk 2077.

I've been looking to feature Rogue in a set for quite some time. There's something unique about doing a scene with an older-looking character like her. I guess you can say that Ana from Overwatch is another example of that, though most renders we get are from her younger version. I did include alts with Rogue's younger version too, though I'd have to admit I like the older one better.

I am pretty happy with how this one turned out. The posing and camera combo worked out pretty well, and so did the lighting/environment aspect.

I managed to get this render done pretty quickly, so I had some good time to start working on our next Mercy animation. I've spent like, the last 3 days trying out ideas and poses/camera angles combinations. The thing is, I want something simple but beautiful; something that can look good with enough animation work and lighting, but doesn't pull me into a big project like I last did with Judy and so many others. I've considered doing something Halloween related for Mercy, since she has a perfect witch skin, but I'm still trying to find something I'm happy with. I started animating a certain idea that I had, but I wasn't that happy with the angles so I decided to look for something else. It is surprisingly difficult to find a good combination between character, pose and camera angle, specially when you're working with an older model like the Mercy one that I have. I'm still looking for an idea that allows me to make the animation shorter, as it is incredibly frustrating to have almost no new members after putting so much time and effort into an animation such as Judy's.
