OUTDOOR ED - Kids Pilot Concept
Added 2024-09-21 18:00:09 +0000 UTCI finally can share the kids show proof-of-concept that Karen and I got to work on earlier this year! It's called Outdoor Ed, and I play a 20-foot-tall mountain man. Here's the official copy from the pitch deck:
Outdoor Ed is a silly kids nature show! Gentle giant Outdoor Ed, his self-serious producer Business Duck, and their production crew of forest friends try their best to put on a TV show that never goes quite to plan. But, with a little creativity and compassion, Ed always learns something new about the natural world and about making a TV show! (Nanalan' meets The Muppet Show)

With your friends! Your family! Your kids! Everyone you know who might like to see a kids show with stop-motion animation and puppets and real sets and bright colors and fun songs! Hosting a childrens show is one of the biggest dreams of my life, and even if this pilot goes nowhere, it would make my year to know that people enjoyed watching this video.
(A quick note about credits! There are no Patreon credits in this video because I didn't produce it! Everyone who worked on it—Dave Cain, Screen Novelties, Five Successes, the camera/editing/sound crew, and Karen & I—all volunteered their time to make this video, so it's not technically my video. I'm just uploading it to my channel because I have the biggest reach! I'm finally using my dreaded "influencer" status to try and influence something good for a change.)
