Upcoming Updates/Changes/Worklist

Now for the nitty-gritty!

I'll try to keep things as succinct as I can here so I don't lose my train of thought xD

Changes to Patreon Rewards and/or Tiers: (will take effect on January 1st, 2018)

• For January only, I'm removing streams from my schedule. I'll likely still do a stream or two randomly during the week that will be patron-only, but I'd like to have a little more breathing room while I'm working on "The Great Reorganizing" xD Basically just gonna take January to reset/review plans/review how my new schedule is working etc. Streams will continue on a regular schedule (exact times TBA) again in February!
• Reward Tier name changes. I'm not sure if I remember exactly why I didn't name the tiers in relation to elnin ranks, but I feel like the change is warranted xD. New tiers will adopt the Nestling > Villager > Adventurer > Noble naming. Might consider adding a Royal tier if I can think of something that'd be fun/rewarding enough.
• Group currency increase starting January 1st. Adventurer ($10) and Noble ($15) rewards are increasing to [5 HQ Coins] and [6 HQ Coins] respectively. Also adding [2 HQ Coins] reward to the Villager ($5) tier as a test run for January (may remove this reward once streams start up again but I'm leaning on leaving it- we'll see!).
• Loyalty Rewards. The specifics on this one aren't set in stone yet but I am definitely planning some rewards for lifetime pledges that reach certain thresholds. We've discussed things in discord like an HQ Coin purse, free MYO slot, patron-only card frames, free growth slot, etcetc. If anyone has any ideas they'd like to offer for things they'd enjoy receiving as part of a loyalty reward type thing, please share!
• Consistency!! Recently I've totally fallen off on getting wips posted when I mean to. I think the YouTube VOD availability of my streams sorta made me lazy and that's just not acceptable xD I'll be going back to posting my stream wips here, along with my off stream work. I think even after this long, I have this urge to keep everything a surprise until it's finished. I think I've got a wip format that I like though, so I'm aiming to stop being so hoardy with the art.

Worklist/schedule transparency.

This is always something I struggle with. I I tend to get overwhelmed easily in times where I've got a lot on my plate and I'm trying to keep it all organized, but then also share my work and progress with everyone. So right now I'm gonna try to take things in small chunks. I've got a Trello list going over here:

As you can see it's a bit different than what you'd normally see. Instead of each work item getting a card (which I tried to set up and I think I nearly had a panic attack xD;; ) I have it more lined up as a calendar, with each card being a tracker for my work on that day. I'm hoping this will help narrow my focus, while still giving you guys an idea of what's going on. I'll be planning my week in advance (aiming to do this on Sundays), with more vague outlines of work on things further out than a week. Not everything on my todo list will be on the calendar at first, but I'll be adding more and more information to it over time. It's my hope that spreading out the addition of specific projects will help me not get overwhelmed @v@.

I'm going to do my worklist this way probably up until I get my total queue under control, at which point I might covert back to the standard setup. But we'll see!

OH! Also, the schedule is indeed public, however all wips will be linked to Patreon posts here so that those are still patron-only access for the appropriate duration (at this point I'll be setting my wip posts to automatically go public after 4 weeks).

As far as group specifics, I don't want to get too into listing things that I want to do. There's so much work that has to be handled that I'm hesitant to overhype! However, I want to highlight the things that are next on the list of priority projects after my general commission queue.

EC Kittom growths, and Rank upgrades are at the top of my list right now in terms of getting the mechanics finished up and ready for you guys. I'd say as far as completion, we have all the individual bits worked out, just gotta put it all together. After that, I feel like there will be a huge focus on breeding (peeerhaaaps some guest breedings will become available for you guys during a certain sweetheart's month c; ) 

Further down the line, we have some projects that I personally think are going to be amazingly fun to introduce, but I'm just going to hold my tongue for now since there is PLENTY to work on before then. xD

And as a final bonus for anyone who read this far, I'm working on this year's herald. Or rather, heralds. >u< There is one specific event coming on the horizon, and as a result, there are multiple heralds this year- kittoms! These nins were born heralds, rather than receiving a blessing as an adult. The birth of herald class elnins is a precursor to the arrival of a Harbinger- an individual that ushers in a new era for elnins as an entire race. The last one appeared nearly a century ago- the Harbinger of Dawn. All elnins born after their arrival are considered children of the Dawn Era. But what does all this even mean exactly...? Well, we'll just have to see!
