Lately I've been thinking about some things I want to try and do, some experiments and series I want to try. One of them that came to mind was to do a series that is a bit focused on more natural poses/real life inspired drawings of Shadowheart in different outfits that are not necessarily just tied to fantasy settings or the BG3 universe.
When I started this illustration my first thought was to draw one of these outfits right away, but I felt that, since I already changed her hair, she might not be recognizable enough if I didn't pick something more canon first, and then - maybe - expand from there.
If people like this I'm open to continue this train of thought, maybe draw more illustrations like this with Shadowheart, just her wearing different clothes like a model, and making this my own little fashion-zine thing!

I mean, this is what I want, otherwise I wouldn't even have had the idea! But art is my full time occupation, so I'll always go back to the audience to see what clicks with them. For me, the love in art comes from the process more as it comes from the result. There is stuff I don't enjoy drawing, so those things I stay away from, but in general I don't mind at all just drawing what people want to see, if I have ideas for it!
