I’m looking to hire a writer who can replicate the writing style, comedic timing, story progression, etc that is shown in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69Hitt9Dw4Y
REQUIREMENTS:
The writing must be engaging, funny, and creative. The type of writing must appeal to a broad audience, but appeal most to Gen Z.
The writer must understand how music, sound effects, and editing cuts/zooms can influence the mood and feelings of the viewer and can incorporate cues for such in the script.
Able to create an entire script off a simple prompt/topic.
Willing to write stereotypical characters and slightly offensive humor.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Talented in comedic and fictional writing.
Someone who is born in Gen Z who thoroughly understands current social media trends, memes, internet culture, etc. Regularly uses TikTok/Instagram.
Well developed creative writing skills.
PAY AND WORKLOAD:
Scripts will range from 200-300ish words not including cues for music, sound effects, etc. I’m paying $0.35 per word, so roughly $70-$105 per script, if that’s fair.
I’m looking to have between 1-3 scripts written to start off. If my project takes off I’ll need one script per week, and the pay will increase relative to the profit generated.
This is my first time hiring, so let me know if this is an appropriate workload for the pay.
