HandBrake - Video Transcoding
Added 2023-02-24 09:35:39 +0000 UTCAs some of you know, I'm not entirely happy with the SONY Vegas Pro 20's h264 encoding. If you want a clear picture, the video file will be huge. However, the result can be that not every computer can play back these huge video files smoothly. If you reduce the bit rate, the picture becomes blurry and skin details such as moles or small blemishes in the skin are no longer clearly visible. It lacks sharpness. You will receive a smaller file in return.
After a long search I came across HandBrake. I did some tests with this video transcoding. The first tests were very good. The file is a good third smaller than SONY Vegas Pro and has more detail. But what finally convinced me is how fluid and smooth the video is played back. At least on my system.
The last story video [#050] was made with this codec. I would be happy if everything worked out. Then I could create the current project and also future ones with this codec. Which would be very good as there will be a faster animation sequence in this project #050.
