That's an excellent point. Thank you. Even if she straight up ignores the question for her own ends, that doesn't mean Lucas isn't going to ask it. I'll take a look at all of chapter 5 this afternoon.

How is his first question to vonnie not “Why do you have keys to my house?” And “ Why did you enter before I answered?”. This is how a real living human would react. He didn’t feel like a person at this point. Completely ignoring it because he’s not supposed to know the answer to these questions for “plot” doesn’t avoid breaking my suspension of disbelief and I was taken out of the story. Also not trying to figure out how she knows his uncle and family is weird too.
