The Kulture Study: BLACKPINK 'GO' MV

The Kulture Study: BLACKPINK 'GO' MV The Kulture Study: BLACKPINK 'GO' MV

I really like Go too, it really stands out among BP title tracks and I just love how their voices sound and stand out during the verses and the bridge. I'm also fine with the instrumental chorus since that shit just hits super hard.

it should've been the first track on the EP in terms of order i think!! it feels like i'm about to watch a valorant tournament (in a good way). rose really shines in this one even though it's a huge departure from her typical vibe (whereas lovesick girls suited her and matched her vibe) and i'm loving it. really strong similarities between this song and ZEN, especially the way silence is used but also so much throughout the MV

I love the ethereal, interstellar vibes. I wish their album had this sound too.

There is a behind the scenes for the MV and it was so nice seeing Rima Yoon discuss her vision. Plus the practical sets. It was great seeing the girls together filming. They were enjoying the shoot and the company of each other, just like they always do. You can check it out on Blackpink’s official YT channel.

The song gave me vibes from all individual work of the girls, it's epic and it gives pieces from all girls solo albums. To me thats evolution its different from previous titles but still blackpink style. As you said they broke free from the kpop sound a long time now and people doesnt seem to understand. Either way it follows some kpop structure but its more westernized and a sound that i could envision BP to do For me this song is their peak until now, not that they dont have iconic tracks, it feels so mature, lyrics making more sense, the structure and the instrumental of the song is great and it is more to what the girls would have want to do, instead of what yg ''forced'' them in the past, and its amazing while having this evolution (or new sound) still maintaining their identity as a group. Also it has clear both Black (2nd verse, ''dark instrumental'' chorus/outro) and Pink (1st verse, bridge) side of them its really an art. The girls took part on this particular song so it connects me more than their previous songs as a group As far as mv goes they explain it briefly on the behind the scenes video but it can have many interpretations and that is what rimayoon does great, mv is also a masterpiece and it fits the song perfectly
