January Progress Report | Chugging Along!

Hey everyone!

I wanted to talk about the current progress of the next House Chores update as well as a small announcement!

== v1.0 Progress ==

Progress on the update is going along great! Most of the new scenes are finished so things are starting to approach that wrap up phase.

There are still a couple of smaller things that need completed, and I don't want to underestimate how long that will take so a solid release date still feels a little too early.

If things proceed faster than anticipated, I could see late February maaaybe being possible. But realistically, I think March is much more likely. I'll keep you updated as we get closer!

== Epilogue Update ==

I'll just go ahead and spill the beans already. House Chores - v1.0 is actually not the 'final' update that I have planned for the game! [dramatic gasp]

In the v1.0 update, the final scene is designed in a way that I felt was fitting for the story. But I also understand that some people might prefer a little more variation to the characters that they can interact with (if you catch my drift). The Epilogue update will include an additional scene that should help satisfy those who want a little more.

And additionally, the epilogue will help serve to bridge the gap a little more to the next major project I have in mind.

The Epilogue Update will release sometime after v1.0 releases! I'd anticipate sometime around this summer!

== What's Next ==

I briefly mentioned this in the past but in case you weren't aware, I do plan to continue the House Chores storyline with these 3 lovely ladies!  So, for those who are sad about their stories coming to a close, you shouldn't be!

However, I would like to work on a new short story game featuring new characters first so there will likely be a short detour. I'll go into details a bit more after the release of v1.0 since a lot of this is still being figured out.
