I feel like if she actually took the time to flesh out the production; to concentrate her attention more patiently; to give herself the time to revisit her work and evaluate it, then it couldβve been something with potential. I saw this in βMans Best Friendβ by Sabrina Carpenter; another album that was generally βokayβ, but couldβve been SO much better if it wasnβt developed in only a year. Iβd rather have an artist take several month to year hiatuses to pursue their work, and have it pay off than to get more music sooner, but have it be mediocre
