New version, new overview! Yes, we're back at it. I'm out of practice, so we'll see how it goes.
Remember that you can see the complete change log here. It includes the release dates!
We're up and running now; believe it or not, we already have a first version to enjoy. It's not all the content I would have liked to have in the first version, but it is realistic content. It has less content than v1.2 from 2021, but at that time, it took me almost half a year to get it ready, compared to about 3 weeks of practical work now. In any case... there are exciting changes, especially in the texts in both languages, although the Spanish text is the one that has had the best changes because there is text that has not been changed since 2021... But as I say, there are interesting things in this new kind of “definitive edition”. To make some reference to GTA. LA is not so buggy, however (or maybe it is).
I'm a big fan of enjoying things little by little. I love the classic versions of any game because they allow you to enjoy those little bits of content that today are very big as a whole and maybe don't have that “essence” that they had at the time. Although it may seem like I'm referring to WoW, I'm talking about LA itself because I loved it when the content cap was just before Alina and Myra moved in. I loved it. So, right now, I'm enjoying it almost as much as I did back then, and I hope you are, too.
As we go step by step, for a few versions, we will be going at a slower pace than usual in terms of content, as I am reviewing every corner of the game/code in search of improving or changing anything permanently. As always, I have my notes of everything I want to change, and I will implement all those changes before meeting Alina and Myra. For example, I'm undecided about whether or not to redo Mabel's level 2, as it's a very old scene, and there's room for improvement. In any case, let's focus on what you can find in this first version.
First things first: the introduction.
But before that... the beginning.
Until now, I was the one who welcomed you to the game, and although it's something I don't dislike, I've always thought it could be a bit non-immersive and somewhat intrusive (especially everything related to easy mode), so now I no longer do the welcoming. Instead, we go straight to the dialogue between Aynia and Lisapi, and just before the end of the dialogue, there is the option you already know.
From there, we jump to the introduction.
In general, it still has the same narrative and texts, although there is a lot of changed and improved text in both languages. A small note, tho: during the beta, the revision of texts in English is not thorough, so as in all betas, some spelling mistakes may be found. Honestly, for v2, I will try to set aside an extra day for a more thorough revision, even if it means publishing the beta a day later.
But... a few weeks ago, I mentioned something about how, during a conversation with Dany, everything was on a black background. I'm talking about just after this.
Well, that doesn't happen anymore.
The whole conversation with Dany is now visible. Dany is present; there is no black background.
One of the big changes, apart from me not welcoming you, is making the subject of choosing the easy mode less intrusive right at the start.
It didn't make sense because until you choose your profession, nothing related to the RPG aspects of the game starts. So that has changed.
Now it's Patricia who gives you the choice.
As usual, you can choose it now or later.
Another interesting change: Making the Sorcerer more OP.
I've always thought that this was the worst profession you could choose because until you meet Tali, it has no particular use. Now, it's a little more balanced.
Yes, every day, you will randomly receive a perfume. The perfect profession for lazy people.
It's not the only profession with interesting changes, but all of them have undergone a small change: From now on, depending on which profession you choose, you will earn extra exp points with the girls. For example, if we choose lumberjack, the first thing that comes to mind is Glenda, and indeed, you will earn more experience with her or any girl related to strength, such as Enya or Suna. I think that adds an extra point to the roleplay.
And before I forget, you can now reconsider choosing your profession.
Everything else happens as usual. There is one slight difference, and that is that I have improved the bedroom scene a little.
Everything else happens as usual (x2). Until we talk about Vanessa. There have been two changes here: First, I've redone the scene where Aynia talks about her. The weird loop is gone. Second, the dialogues have been rewritten, although they still have the same context: to talk briefly about Vanessa.
Everything else happens as usual (x3).
Oh, wait, what's that? Day 3? Impossible.gif
After Aynia tells you that in a few days, you will receive Maria's letter and finish that whole scene, instead of “- a few days later. -”, you go directly to the next day and will be given total freedom of movement for 5 days.
But, Keisi, I'm bored; I want to meet Yuna now!
Get some sleep (long sleep), problem solved.
Now, you not only have access to midnight (it has no other use other than immersion, you know).
But you also have access to Patricia's room.
And to Dany's.
This includes several hidden events in both rooms.
And yes, one includes a little nod to Dany and his relationship with Lust.
It doesn't spoil anything for the future, tho. If you already know who Dany really is, well, obviously, you already know what it's all about.
Also, we have two new areas in the forest.
In one of them, we can find Dany.
In the other one, Patricia.
Both have interactions. Dany will have a task for you, and you can spend time with Patricia. You can also collect materials with Patricia and talk about nature with Dany (RPG stuff).
They both have a pre-event before the area becomes accessible (it happens automatically).

Next stop: After finishing the intro, as all the changes were made, it's more focused on texts and Yuna's panties.
Classic vibes here.
The girls' interface looks clean at first, so why is that...?
Everything, and I mean everything, has an introductory event so as not to overwhelm the player with too much information at once on each panel of the interface. I mean everything, although not literally everything. From now on, the counters and the biography will not be available at the beginning of the game.
To unlock it, you must wait to meet Anna and talk to Yuna at night.
After this introductory event, you will have access to the menus you already know.
What else? Oh, yes, a silly but functional QoL: Being able to go to the hot springs from your room. For those who want to spam bathing with a girl.
And speaking of clean interfaces, the inventory also looks cleaner now that I've removed the “unknown material”.
The girls' backgrounds have been reorganized, and the ability to choose each girl's initial background has been added.
This was possible with the secondary girls but not with the mains, which doesn't make much sense.
The Journal interface also looks cleaner now, although as you progress in your adventure, you'll unlock more things.
People have been asking me for more choices/interactions in all the quests/events for years. Well, here are a few examples of the new interactions.

In the part where you meet Glenda, there are about 3-4 new interactions.

And speaking of Glenda, there you have the new Glenda, more freckled and with shorter pants.
A change in progress: Optimization of the jobs panel.
So far, I've made some changes to the code to simplify everything and changed the order in which things are displayed. I have to make some small adjustments to the icons, tho.
Although there are more changes, they are more subtle, so to speak. So, on to the last point: the talks.
I'll be brief because it's something you already know. The (dirty/love) talks should exist from the beginning with any main girl; not only that, but this should unlock new interactions with them, either within their events or in repeatable events. This is something I implemented years ago, but then I put it aside with the excuse of “in the next version, I implement more of this”, which never happened.
But no more. From now on, if applicable, all the girls will have new interactions in their repeatable events, both love and sexiness. Not only that, but it unlocks some new extra interaction depending on the level of love/sexiness, and it also unlocks some extra renders as well, not just dialogues.
That's why the stats cap will now be unlinked from trust. This allows for more interactions with the girls in their early content.
And that's all the highlights of this version. You also have changes in the secondary girls, as practically all their levels (1-3) have been rewritten. And the same goes for Yuna's level 2-3 and Anna's level 2.
And that's it! We'll discuss the next piece of content soon, but we'll have to wait a few weeks. For now, I want you to focus on this first version. In the coming weeks, I'll work on the Android port, revise all the texts more deeply, and fix silly bugs that keep popping up. Once the Android port is finished, I'll start on v2.
See you soon!
