OBJECTION
let's take a break from the doomed yuri for a moment to appreciate what an absolute goober Pepper is and what an absolute chad our Minotaur friend is for stepping in to the best of his abilities
no terrifying implications about Elliot here, no sir, none whatsoever
AND EVEN MORE SPECIAL, let's give a round of applause for our phenomenal guest star, the ever-incredible DnD Shorts! Twas an absolute pleasure and genuine honor to have him grace us as this episode's Miles Edgeworth, The Prosecution Lawyer!
And, of course, another thank you to our friend Brendan for his work as the Judge and the Minotaur!
I had SO much fun with finding music and doing the speed lines. Fun fact, I learned how to do that speed line warbling effect by watching Umamusume. That show gets me in the compositing mood like you wouldn't believe. It's also just genuinely so much fun. Seriously.
But this isn't about silly horse girls, this is about silly D&D characters going to court. So, you know. Normal D&D stuff.
Also I just want credit for how much restraint I showed in intentionally trying not to do a bunch of Ace Attorney references. Do you know how hard it was to board this out without doing the poses verbatim with the music from the games? Do you know how hard I struggled? Foster worked too hard on this script for me to drown it in references to my favourite franchise. Definitely failed in my endeavor but it's the thought that counts.
