I viewed Mari as a pseudo GY Hate option as it could limit what my opponents could recur, plus card draw and treasure tokens. To your point, I tried to limit the number of non-party creatures in there and I'm on the fence with what to do with her. There's a lot of value there but may not be many options for a payoff.
I think Stick Together is a weak quasi-board wipe option, but threw it in there for flavor.
Great catch on the shapeling/conspiracy angles. Definitely would have missed that.
