Haha! Well, in the end they are all based on someone from real live somehow XD

Nooo, you lie, everybody can clearly see that you based Tom on me, it's like LITERALLY ME /s
Interesting lore, you really nailed the characters, definitely MOST relatable furry comic ive ever read.

It is nice to see the background. But I also love the change you made. Even though I do not know the original I think if the characters would be more extreme Tom more grumpy it would not be that wholesome anymore. It would feel like a drag down. I think the upward drift is very good for the story.
Also those drawings look very good but animals/animals kinds might still be your stronger side :D

Thanks so much for the background! The images are fun to see, and to show how your art has evolved.

Absolutely! We have a very famous comic series here about Donald Duck (somehow its way more popular in german then english, because the translator is doing such a good job) and they said the same: There will be no cell phones in the story, because it makes so many issues way too easy to solve :D

That's really cool seeing the origins of the characters. It makes sense why they all feel so well developed and fit together so well given how long they have existed together.
I also kind of like the lack of technology. Smart phones make a lot of story telling more difficult. The classic misunderstandings that drove the plots of 90s romcoms wouldn't work now as they could have been resolved in 30 seconds with a text message. Scenes like where Jeremy is spiraling in his room because Tom is late, wondering if he just blew up at his friend and brother for a guy who's no longer interested in him, wouldn't work if he could have just texted Tom and been like "where U at?".
