end of the year update / 2024 update

hey patrons!!

it's the end of the year and i just wanna start this announcement off by giving a huge thanks to everyone who has supported me at all <3 i appreciate each and every one of you.

i've definitely had my ups and downs this year--college has been getting much harder and has taken up a majority of my time, and i have had some significant changes in my life, but you all have been able to help me do what i love doing most.

next year is going to come with a few changes to the way i do things. firstly, i am going to be on a more consistent schedule for uploading content. i admit that i've been a bit inconsistent with putting packs/videos out, so i'm going to make a greater effort to have both a video and a pack out at the beginning of each month. secondly, i'm changing the way i do lessons and am offering both 30 minute lessons and hour-long lessons.

with these changes come a few updates to the overall pricing of my patreon. since i started it in january of 2021, i've uploaded nearly 34 sample packs and 20+ videos, which is admittedly a lot of content. in order to handle this more fairly, i added a derptron vault tier which grants you access to all the content i've ever uploaded in the past 3 years for $10 more. the derptron tier, which has been the default since i started, will now grant access to the most recent sample pack & video i've uploaded. so if you join in february and i haven't posted the new pack yet, you get access to the january pack, as well as the february pack when i post it (same goes for videos). i have also made the decision to change the pricing of my lessons--this is the most substantial change out of everything. for a 30 minute lesson it's $55, and for an hour-long lesson its $110, compared to $40 previously. if you have already paid for an hour-long lesson this month and have not had it yet, hit me up ASAP so i can schedule it!

the main reason i'm making these changes is because recently i've been struggling to make ends-meet every month with bills + taxes + rent, and because school takes up most of my time, finding a job during the semester is difficult. i want to keep doing what i love doing most, which is creating unique resources for other producers.
