making basses with unique overtones/harmonics

hey epic patrons! i'm back with another video in this video i decided to focus mainly on some new bass design techniques, and my process to get unique timbres in basses. i'm also including a few racks that i occasionally use when i resample to get some crazy movement in my sounds! hope y'all enjoy & let me know if you have any questions!

Hey know any reason why the .adg racks won't load in ableton? Just says "Only audio effects can be placed on this kind of track" But the Phat racks work fine

pooonana

These are some nice basses! Can you show a quick tutorial with sounds in serum?

updated phat rack???

Been really digging this track both in this video and the twitter clip, I would absolutely love a thorough breakdown of the whole thing <3

Sick vid, definitely bought MTransformer after this. Any chance we'll get a phat rack 3.1 download? :(

crazy

thanks! yeah it saves me a lot of time sometimes and it can be really helpful to make the flow with saw waves & filters before going and actually sound designing stuff in

Damn I love that workflow tip of getting the filter movement with a saw wave before working on the actual harmonic design - sick way to demo the groove without burning time on distorting stuff for nothin
