my approach and thought process for making pads!
Added 2021-05-27 02:23:21 +0000 UTChey everyone, hope you all enjoy this video/find it useful. one of the things i forgot to mention in this vid was about processing pads, my apologies! i'll explain it here but i'll make sure to go over that in my roundup video later this week.
what i typically do is add the ableton "multiband compression" preset, turn the mix down to like 50% or so, then do some basic mid/side EQ. i normally just boost the highs on the sides, cut out the lows, etc etc.
