Since launching, weβve devoted nearly every waking minute to seeking out and amplifying Black and Brown voices. So for those who have something they want to say right now β whether itβs about this moment or not β we want to help you say it.
We have a pitching guide, which you should read here. It shows what we look for in a pitch. Take a quick read-through. Then send us an email with the subject line βPitch.β
Your words are important. And we are committed to getting people to read them. Itβs what we do. Please reach out.
Payment: We've actually revised our payment rates a bit since developing a feature pipeline, so our essay rate is now $500 flat (with exceptions for longer pieces) but our reported rate stays the same ($1/word).
