The ones I got are just cheap ones as well. Linear rails (MGN) tend to be a lot better in their cheap versions than something like a supported round rail (SBR) or even unsupported (LM) ones. If you can spend a little extra, get genuine HIWIN from a trustworthy source.

Your reaction to the E3D high end setup was priceless btw! :-) On the melt zone you teased the future cnc build with rails, so I’m wondering if you would be willing to share where you sourced your rails? It’s a jungle out there with different sources, and the Banggood ones I tried was crap ;-) I’m looking to use them on an DIY all metal cage/enclosed 3D printer with a Prusa i3 kinematics. Thanks!
