Book 2 Chapter 100-Emperor

Since the next book will probably involve the Khaganate more, I hope we see more of Hu Qing. His presence has been really lacking towards the end of the book. For General Yan though, I'm not sure if I should worry too much about him as from what we can see here, his intentions are more reactionary. He fears that the new Emperor will dispose him and his men. Yunqi and Kayla will probably do them right and if the situation calls for it I'm sure Kayla will do it cautiously. I just hope Hu Qing doesn't get killed or something. Please don't author, I beg you or I will be depressed.๐ข๐ญ Anyway, thanks so much for the book.

I suspect the next conflict is going to revolve heavily around the Khaganate, which I'm excited for because I feel like we haven't seen enough of Ashina, and I really want to see her grow as a character. I'm sad to see Ruhei and Chen go, but I'm sure we'll be seeing them more. And I'm a bit terrified to see if Kayla's oldest ally manages to survive against the guy likely to be the next major antagonist. Thanks!
