Loved the interaction between Kayla and Ashina. Ashina ending up conflicted is as good as it could possibly go given the circumstances. Really excited to see where their relationship goes. The 7th prince has practically bo redeeming qualities without his righteousness, just a ball of anger and ruthlessness. This is gonna end up pretty bloody.

Though perhaps deep down he actually loved the Seventh prince's righteous side. Maybe all of the dirty things he did on the prince's behalf was also partly because he wanted to stay all of the cold and dark side of politics away from the Prince. Humans are really contradictory creatures. Anyways, excellent chapter! Thanks so much!
