Not asking permission in order to be decisive in the moment and then asking for forgiveness later works great in warfare, but not really all that well in interpersonal relationships unless the other person seriously trust you. Wei Guang is right, Kayla hasn't built up the trust needed with Ashina to act in the way she did. Ashina is going to rightfully value the opinions of the people she knows better and at best is going to leave the conversation with Kayla conflicted...and at worst is going to assume Kayla is a liar and hate her. Reminds me of lessons I've learned in my own life. Doesn't matter if every single thing you say is true if the person on the receiving end doesn't trust you enough to believe you.
