Resident Evil 2, 3, and 7 getting major patches on Steam very soon

Capcom will be releasing patches to RE2, RE3, and RE7 adding ray-tracing support (more info here: https://twitter.com/RE_Games/status/1507414411312439301). They haven't announced a release date, but I expect this will happen tomorrow, 12th of June (Capcom will have a big stream that day with announcements, more info here: https://news.capcomusa.com/2022/06/06/capcom-showcase-kicks-off-on-june-13-at-300pm-pt/).
Before downloading the patch, I highly recommend ensuring all mods are uninstalled. This means there's no chance the game will be updating PAK files that are modded. If it ends up doing that, you might end up with a partially corrupt install. If you do end up in that scenario, I suggest doing these steps to make the game install clean again:
- Uninstall all mods via the mod manager
- Right-click the game in Steam, choose Properties, choose Local Files, and select "Verify file integrity"
