Today's Resident Evil Village patch and Fluffy Manager
Added 2021-08-24 21:27:48 +0000 UTCResident Evil 8 got patched yet again today (I'm surprised Capcom is suddenly patching the game so much lately after it received no patch for several months after launch). Normally I'd need to update the third person mod so it's compatible again, but it's not needed this time, as the code changes Capcom did were so minimal that the same trainer addresses still function just fine.
If you had any mods installed as you patched the game, note that you might have to clean your game install to ensure there's no corruption in PAK files. That's done via these steps:
- Uninstall all mods via Fluffy Manager
- Reinstall RE8 or right-click the game on Steam and select Properties->Local Files->Verify integrity of game files
- Click on "Re-read game archives" in Fluffy Manager
