[TUTORIAL] Visual Effects: putting CGI on water

One of the most fun VFX that you can do with some real footage on water like rivers, seas, oceans.

The tutorial will show how you can insert visual effects / CGI inside the water of a real footage with a turbulent river with waves.

Personally I was always scared that one day somebody would have asked this to me, and for this reason I decided to dig into it :D

Note: this is not the usual tutorial about reflection on the water. The particular challenging thing in this is that I will use a footage of a river full of waves and ripples, is not just a flat lake surface (which would be very easy to work on).

Also if you want to go fancy, you can also add dynamic paint particles to get that little bit of white foam on the water when the monkey moves. But I didnt do it in the tutorial because I didnt want to make things too much unnecessarily complicated, and also in this particular scene I dont thing that the white foam is strictly neessary.
