Added 2023-10-31 16:00:21 +0000 UTCLast week didn’t start off to the greatest foot with technical gremlins not allowing the livestream to take place, but instead a surprise shift and a great turn of projects. First off is the new Box-Nought Dread from the 40k Leviathan set. This project is a nice return to remix some classic “scale model weathering” in with my current illustrative style which is great on the tabletop! Secondly we have the Assassin character from the new AoS Freeguilds Command Corps which was sent to me by Games Workshop. An excellent miniature that combines some great story telling elements, lots of fabric and a new lighting scenario to illustrate.
Both of these projects will be coming with their own video tutorials starting with the Dreadnought! The editing is in its final stages as I wrap up the painting with its base. Its tutorial didn’t need multi parts as it’s best to finish painting this week and release the entire video next week. The Assassin will be a tutorial primarily focused on sketching, fabrics and utilizing rim lighting. That’s what’s coming and stay tuned as I will be making a separate announcement for the livestream, hopefully glitch free!
