How to Paint - Tyranid Lictor

Games Workshop was ever so kind as to send me a preview copy of this kit in order to paint and present you with a full miniature painting tutorial.
Being a fully organic bio-weapon, it was a great palette cleanser from the careful blending, shape creating, value controlling realm of NMM, and I could turn my brush into looser strokes to work a TON of curves that this model along with the rest of the range provides. Even if you aren't a fan of the range, the details of how we can turn a very loose and sketchy workflow that is anchored with light volumes and taking advantage of the AK Deep Shades to help smooth some of the extreme roughness and leave the results as you see.
