Aww, I was rooting for Xauhqui, she fought so hard while Ketz was lucky. But I’m glad she won too since he’s my second favorite character, congratulations to both💯

I like how Xauhqui did a reference to Xunabi's Coatl Runner character sheet by pulling off the same handstand spin kick that Xunabi did to defeat Ketz. Sadly for Xauhqui, poor timing costed her victory since she didn't make the landing. Still, props for Ketz for managing to make the landing despite receiving a kick that should have knocked him off the board. I like Xauhqui's happy and confident smile as she lands the kick. She doesn't have much of a rivalry with Ketz as she did with her cousin and Junior. Ketz it's powerful, but he is not as skilled as her previous foes and he is also her friend, so Xauhqui treats the fight as a friendly encounter. Still, Xauhqui's overconfidence and underestimating of Ketz costed her the platinum. Gotta applaud to Ketz. Granted, some of his victories were based on luck and circumstance, but he endured a lot of pain to achieve the platinum medal. I hope that he will evolve as a surfer and fighter in the future. This was a fun tournament and I am glad to have witnessed the battles to the end.
