Thank you for seeking feedback from your followers. Very cool (aka ballsy). I am SO sorry for the length of this message! I have a background in theatre and I cannot help myself. It’s a quick read, I promise. I think YOU enjoyed making the conversational version more and that shows. It def flows better; however, it appears you filmed that one second. The second (rehearsed) take of anything is generally going to better than the first and filming them back-to-back is sorta like holding the script just below camera, so it doesn’t feel as authentic as it could. That’s also partly due to nerves, though. (Again, this is all just my opinion! 🥹) For better beta testing, really change up the takes. Move rooms. Take a long break between. Change clothes. Something to distance yourself between filming so you (we) get a true sense of the way the styles differ and can provide better feedback. PLEASE please try to get away from the computer screen when recording yourself. The light from the screen gives your skin a sickly pallor, reminiscent of fluorescent lighting in an office and also highlights every bump, blemish, stray ear hair, or neck stubble you cannot see with the naked eye. I also can’t stop focusing on what appears to be a stuffed lemon wedge with feet, smirking at you from behind your back…. (Such a sour puss, hey? shut up shut up you know I had to) Please tell me what that is! Lastly, why not try this out on something you’ve already gotten past the powers that be? You could re-record an ending to a previously released version, to avoid jumping through YT hoops, etc. If that’s well received, you could turn the camera around ONLY when you are giving your final thoughts through personal commentary, as you already do verbally with your current content. Eventually, morphing into full frontal camera work. Wait…. That’s sounds wrong…. 😉 I deleted this and then I un-deleted it, then I moved it, then I deleted it again…. WE, I’m keeping it in it. ((Remember, change is scary to most so don’t be discouraged if people are hating a shift in style. Mike from That Chapter had surgery to correct his eyesight but still had to wear glasses for a while because his followers couldn’t handle his new look (no glasses!!).))
