I don't think that his request for a picture of her body was because he wanted to know if she was fit or slim... I think it was more because he wanted to see how "developed" she might be in certain regions... making sure that she looks enough like a child to carter to his preferences...

When I was a younger man, late teens to early twenties. I would say I found myself, maybe not addicted to porn, but most definitely heading in that direction. I'd never been a sexual person and I was being pulled left right and centre by all these new urges stemming from content I was watching. After recognizing that it was having a negative impact on my life I stopped watching and started doing research about. I've been on and off looking into porn addiction ever since and the effects it can have on a person. If I'm following your thoughts, you're saying that porn addiction doesn't lead someone to breaking a moral barrier that they would never cross under any circumstances. I do agree with you there, I think that most of these guys, be it preferential attraction or straight up ignorance to the effects sex can have on a young teen, they already have the ability to harm a minor slumbering within them. The porn addiction is like adding maximum heat to a full and simmering pot.

A supposition that the quantity of nasty means they must be? Something else? I ask because I don't draw the same parallel. Porn enjoyment and / or addiction doesn't make you a predator. Nor does sex addiction. It isn't enough on it's own. There are so many ways to have these conversations with consenting adults but they aren't. They are pursuing children. No amount of watching porn can break that moral barrier. What seems more plausible is that when an offender finds a target then all their perverse wants are at a boil and come spilling out. How often have they had this opportunity to talk like this with a minor, let alone one that will agree to meet. I believe you've said it before, but there is a distinct difference between the language and content of the chat of those predators who want sex, first and only, and those who are either playing the long groom or believe they can have a relationship. That relationship might be so they can shape and mold their idea of what a partner should be (think Lorne's controlling nature) or to create a long term predatory opportunity, one victim but multiple opportunities. Anyway, I got off on a tangent there. I am writing my thoughts much like your commentaries, in real time. So to end this, is it fact, belief or evidence based probability?

I had some ideas how they operated their filthy business on the dark web but to be honest I've never looked into it in great detail. The reason I can handle the predator chat logs is because at the end of the day I know no child is being hurt, and the predator is going to get an uncomfortable meeting with Chris Hansen. I think if i were to look into this dark web situation it would hurt too much. I hate the idea of children being harmed, and the dark web is hopeless. So many gross idiots getting away with their horror and I don't have the ability to watch them face justice. Maybe one of these days I'll take a look into it all, I'm certain there's an interesting video in that. But i'd most definitely have to prepare myself emotionally leading into it. I can imagine it's just going to be a sinkhole of horrible feelings.

Have you ever done any research into the dark web hosting platforms for communities of paedophiles? This man is absolutely, without a doubt, heavily involved in these communities. You can tell from the initial chat. The questions he asks, the way he speaks, how he is utterly obsessed with the idea of getting images and videos. Images of children engaged in sex acts actually afford you a somewhat elevated status on the platform. They often get access to more exclusive child pornogphy as well as moderator rights etc, the more illicit material they share the more they prove their value and status in the community. In some of these sites (sites focused less on the delusion that a child is enjoying themselves, rather these are the darker and more violent sites) you have to share original pornographic material you have filmed yourself to even gain access to the community or content. Not to mention as he shares more content the more collateral the runners of the site obtain about him, to ensure mutual destruction should he ever flip. He likely spends all his free time on these sites, so obtaining status amoung his fellow demons is probably more psychologically fulfilling then producing the content himself. It's the reason he never shows his face, bails on the arrangements last mintue, throws in token lines about other people being creepy (he thinks this provides a platform of defence) etc. These are all tips paedophiles share with each other on these sites when they are not busy communally fetishising the children they abuse.
