First Ride on the New Ducati Diavel V4!

A lot of people have been asking how the new Diavel V4 feels compared to my 1260 so I wanted to do this first ride a little different and compare the two.
Basically I think it boils down to a few things for me. First is the styling. I personally think the styling on the 1260 just looks better overall. However, with an exhaust and a few plastic pieces replaced with carbon, the V4 does look a lot better.
Next would be the ride experience itself. There is no question the Diavel V4 has better overall performance. It's easier to ride, handles better and just has overall better performance across the board. BUT, in its current state it does lack a bit of character that you get from the twin Ducati's.
The exhaust might fix this issue so we will revisit it after we get the termi system installed. My overall conclusion is, if you have the money and you want the "BEST" Diavel the new V4 is the answer. If you want a Diavel and you want the rawness and character of an old school Ducati with the sexy looks save some money and find a used 1260.
