Hi friends! I'm fresh off my first residency at Randolph where I'm working on getting my MFA! Lots of new ideas swirling, and I can't wait to get writing. Thank you for being here, because Patreon funds are supporting my MFA journey!! I hope to do right by you!

In other news, the poetry editor from The Offing reached out recently about publishing something of mine and I sent him some pieces to consider. Thought I'd share some with you too!

These are all excerpts from the book I'm working on, from the section about my first reunion with my birthmother. My work does the splits across poetry and prose and so I shot a long shot, hoping he'd have a wide definition of poetry himself. Great news: the editor chose them ALL, and they'll be published as a bundle next month!
