Vader is a fully trained Jedi. Force lifting is though not habitual, certainly easy enough with focus. Vader slipped into a mode not taken by most Jedi however, and his anger prompts him to use the force semi-automatically to augment his bodily strength and in doing so the objects of his wrath also become lighter. This combination endows him with superhuman stature. This combined with innate brilliance makes him indomitable.
