Cheelai x Gohan Commission

This is a Full-Color commission, however it's a bit of an unusual one. The commissioner is one of my regulars here on Patreon. And he was actually very kind and offered to skip December entirely to give me more free time for the holidays. I appreciated the offer a ton, but I didn't want him paying money to me for the month without getting anything in return. So we agreed on a middle-ground where he would still get a commission, but he would just give the characters, and leave everything else up to me so I would have full creative control to do what I like.
This was an exciting prospect for me, so I took the opportunity to experiment. I played around with my coloring style a little in this picture. Since I had creative control, I was able to do a picture which was a bit easier to draw, which freed up time to experiment somewhat, and try out some new shading techniques. I think it turned out pretty well!
This is also my first time drawing Cheelai, which was a lot of fun. She's one of those characters I've had my eye on for a while but never had the chance to actually draw.
