May News Update (Patrons only)

Hey again, time for this month's news update.

Version 0.1 of "The Art of Diplomacy...And Love" is now available to all patrons, while I've begun work on version 0.1 of "Private Eyes". Now, once that is released, likely mid to late June, the usual release schedule, with the higher tiers getting access first, will be back in action from the July release on.

However, I've thought about reworking the tiers a little bit. The changes would be the following: Tier 1 now gets access to new versions 5 days after Tier 2, not just a month later, when the new version arrives. Additionally, it gets access to bonus content. Tier 2 can now vote in bonus content polls. Tier 3 can now suggest bonus content.

To summarize, the Tier benefits would look like this:

Tier 5 (35$): Gets access to new game versions first (Together with Tier 4), Gets to vote in every poll, including bonus content polls (Votes count 6 times), Gets to suggest bonus content scenarios, Gets access to bonus content

Tier 4 (20$): Gets access to new game versions first (Together with Tier 5), Gets to vote in every poll, including bonus content polls (Votes count 4 times), Gets to suggest bonus content scenarios, Gets access to bonus content

Tier 3 (10$): Gets access to new game versions 5 days after Tier 4 + 5, Gets to vote in every poll, including bonus content polls (Votes count 3 times), Gets to suggest bonus content scenarios, Gets access to bonus content

Tier 2 (5$): Gets access to new game versions 5 days after Tier 3, Gets to vote in every poll, including bonus content polls (Votes count 2 times), Gets access to bonus content

Tier 1 (2$): Gets access to new versions of the game 5 days after Tier 2, Gets to vote in game related polls, not including bonus content polls (Votes count 1 time), Gets access to bonus content

This is the current plan, but I won’t put it in motion until late June, because I first want to get some feedback and suggestions from you. So, please, feel free to drop some in the comments.

Now, I’d also like to give you a quick overview of the 3 types of polls:

Game Content polls: These will include mostly cosmetic choices (Choosing the character model for a new character, f.e.), but for „Diplomacy“, it may also include polls to decide which Love Interest gets content first.

Game Release polls: These polls will decide, which project I’ll concentrate on for the following month. They may become unecessary in the future, depending on my support level on here, so if I won’t have to pick and choose, on what project to spend my very limited time and ressources on.

Bonus Content polls: These will be to determine the monthly bonus content, obviously. Also, these will be tiered from now on, since Tier 2 can vote in them now, too.

That’s pretty much the news for now. As mentioned above, „Private Eyes“ version 0.1 will most likely get a mid to later June release, since I just started work on it. I’ll do some work-in-progress posts on discord, where I’ll also post the ultimate release date, once I’m sure of it.
