Translation

This message is intended for those who are interested in translating the game or editing existing texts.

We have already described how to work with game files, but judging by the incoming emails with questions, it was not enough. Therefore, here will be described in detail the whole process, with examples and explanations.

• The first thing you need is a text editor with support for the ".json" format. There are a lot of similar programs, and there is no special difference what you will use. The most common are "Notepad++" and "Sublime Text". Choose what is more convenient for you.

• Next, you will need a file with the text itself. You can find it by going to the "Resources" folder located in the root directory of the game. All dialogues, item descriptions and other texts available in the game are stored here.

• Here is an example of a text fragment. Everything is presented in the format ["line name": "text displayed in the game"]. The green color indicates the names of the lines on which the game determines which text should be displayed in a particular place. You don't have to translate that.  The red color highlighted the names of the characters that appear in the title bar of the dialog box. Constructions like "#{character_name}" do not need to be translated. The names of the characters themselves can be found on 459-498 lines. The in-game text that you want to translate is marked in blue color.

Note that such inserts "\\. \\| \\^ \\fb" are often present in the text. These are special commands that are responsible for pauses or text style. You can find their full list with descriptions at the very beginning of the file. When translating, please try to keep these commands in their places as far as possible.

• To see your edits directly in the game, rename the edited file to "en.json".

• Первое, что вам понадобится, это текстовый редактор с поддержкой формата ".json". Подобных программ очень много, и нет особой разницы, какой именно вы будете пользоваться. Наиболее распространенными являются "Notepad++" и "Sublime Text". Выбирайте то, что вам удобнее.

• Далее вам понадобится файл с самим текстом. Его можно найти, перейдя в папку "Resources", расположенную в корневом каталоге игры. Все диалоги, описания предметов и другие тексты, доступные в игре хранятся здесь.

• Вот пример фрагмента текста. Все представлено в формате ["название строки": "текст, отображаемый в игре"]. Зеленым цветом отмечены названия строк, по которым игра определяет, какой текст нужно отобразить в том или ином месте. Вам не нужно это переводить. Красным цветом выделены имена персонажей, которые отображаются в заголовке диалогового окна. Конструкции подобные "#{character_name}" переводить тоже не требуется. Сами имена персонажей можно найти на 459-498 строках. Внутриигровой текст, который вы хотите перевести, отмечен синим цветом.

Обратите внимание, что в тексте часто присутствуют подобные вставки "\\. \\| \\^ \\fb". Это специальные команды, которые отвечают за паузы или стиль текста. Их полный список с описаниями вы можете найти в самом начале файла. При переводе, пожалуйста, постарайтесь оставить эти команды на своих местах, насколько это возможно.

• Чтобы увидеть изменения непосредственно в игре, переименуйте отредактированный файл в "en.json".
