I seriously love how the numbers look on these jerseys.

more philosophy than law, but I believe it is the ideal angle to attack at. specifically form the corners of the FT line. once you are even with the defender that angel just creates such an advantage to either spin or finish on your path because you will have the angel to play the glass. You will find the defender either over commits and lets you spin/cross back, or they are going to give you the angle to put them on your hip and turn the corner.

I would give the package Utah asks for Lauri to Miami if they're willing to trade Bam

So it wasn't just me, the transition D was trash. Nobody's sprinting back. Hopefully it's just an intensity issue because it's "only a showcase".

I'm loving the fact that these Olympic games are going to get broadcast during work hours. Was able to catch the 2nd quarter when AD single handedly carried us on both ends. Is it just me or does it seem like his dominance showed even more in international play against less speedy and athletic competition?

I wonder if Pat did the math and realized he better suit up! I could see keeping him if Podz is traded but if not you got slot Post in one of those spots, maybe Beekman is the odd man out

I've really enjoyed the FIBA whistle where there's no BS shooting fouls (i.e. Embiid). There's also no NBA defensive 3 second violation in FIBA competition (and really any league not named the NBA for that matter), which allows the defense to load up in the paint, such as on the Embiid post ups.
Also good to see the SL Warriors remain undefeated. Only thing to note from last night's win vs CLE was that Pat returned to action and played well, but still no Beekman or Post. That aside, I've really enjoyed this year's team. A ton of credit goes to Anthony Vereen for the job he's done.

I think the forwards are very interchangeable.. Steph Jrue and AD are the key

They shut down Podz and TJD plus no Beekman or Post, thats why I jumped over to cover this. It just felt more relevant/important.

Great breakdown! Do you know if Podz and TJD are still playing with the summer league team ? Would be nice to win a championship even if it is summer league 😂

Its funny watching these USA All-star teams and who fades into the background and who actually rises to the top. I dont want to take away from what Booker or Tatum could do in any given game but it shows you that they are Robins. I really like AD Bam combo and from what we know of steve - he is going to run with something that works. Ideally though the starters would be - Steph, Jrue, KD, Lebron and AD. I think that gives you best of both worlds but we know that its a marathon and we need heavy hitters off the bench too
